Hi folks, my name is Jonathan ‘Shrek’ Sharp. I am an exiled Londoner living in Northampton. I currently have the privilege to occupy the drum throne for Vintage Stuff. My playing history is long but boring and really has no big high lights. I have been what’s called a jobbing drummer, I would play at the opening of an envelope if it was a paying gig. I have also been a drum teacher for many years and have ex students up and down the country earning a living so maybe I taught them enough. Surviving a massive heart attack I was thinking my playing days were done and then Señor Rob made that fateful call… ‘could you do a gig this Saturday, we have tried every other drummer we know and a bloke on the bus gave us your number etc…’ Well the rest as they say is history.
